80年代後龐克樂團Echo & the Bunnymen的主唱Ian McCulloch，前些時間公開批評了Beady eye的歌詞和偉大的主唱大人Liam Gallagher。
他是這麼說的：
"I like Liam, but, to be honest, Beady Eye are crap. He looks like a fish out of water.He should have bided his time and thought a little more about the lyrics that might be worth writing."
翻譯："我喜歡Liam，Beady Eye是大便。"
接著他覺得還不夠又補了一槍：
"I feel for him. He's never been the greatest frontman in the world. That's bollocks because there's so much of me in him."
翻譯："他從來不是什麼最棒的主唱，跟我差不多而已啦"
PS：Liam前陣子被一個英國當地電台選為 The Greatest Frontman Of All Time，第二名是Queen的Freddie Mercury。
最近重新回去玩Twitter的Liam回擊
"Ian McCulloch you wanna watch what your saying about my lyrics or I will come and tattoo them on your forehead ! LG"
翻譯："閉嘴 林北是Oasis的主唱耶!!"
從過去到現在，蓋勒格兄弟總能在音樂以外的事帶給我們不少樂趣，不過也該想點新招了。還有，奇怪的是Ian McCulloch的這段批評已經是半年前的訪問，可能是英國的電信公司比中華電信還要更努力工作呢，跳轉之後有大便......喔不，是Beady Eye的歌詞。
